ABOUT:
Natural Skintone Studio greatly expands upon Saints Row 2's original skintones to enable both lighter and darker shades, with a higher degree of granularity between them.
The colour values used by this mod have been chosen mathematically in reference to Saints Row 2's original skintones.
Colours added by this mod will be found below those added by Gentlemen Of The Row. (Gentlemen Of The Row is REQUIRED for this mod to work.)
157 NEW NATURAL SKINTONES!:
Natural Skintone Studio adds 5 columns of 26 natural skintones, which are based on the colour values of the original skintones in Saints Row 2.
Each column represents a different hue, with shades ranging from light to dark:
The 6th column is unique, and adds 27 skintones ranging from "Pale" to "Fake-Tan":
SPECULAR OPTIONS:
This mod also provides specular options for the Playa's skin (skin glossiness):
0% Specular: Matte.
50% Specular: More realistic.
100% Specular: As it is in the original Saints Row 2.
NEW MENU ICONS FOR GOTR!:
As a bonus; The menu icons added by Gentlemen Of The Row have received a face-lift! They now look more in keeping with the original game's skintone icons:
INSTALLATION: (Gentlemen Of The Row is REQUIRED for this mod to work.)
1. COPY "skin_color_pool.xtbl" from the "1. Skin Color Pool" folder.
2. PASTE into "Gentlemen_of_the_Row_Saints_Row_2_Super_Mod_v1.9.2\optional_mod_stuff\1-MODDERS_-_PUT_YOUR_OWN_PERSONAL_MODS_HERE".
3. COPY a "player_creation_skin_colors.xtbl" from the "2. Specular Options" folder.
4. PASTE into "Gentlemen_of_the_Row_Saints_Row_2_Super_Mod_v1.9.2\optional_mod_stuff\1-MODDERS_-_PUT_YOUR_OWN_PERSONAL_MODS_HERE".
5. Rebuild your Gentlemen Of The Row custom patch by double-clicking "Create_Custom_GotR_v1.9.2.bat" and following the instructions.
6. Move the newly created contents of "MY_CUSTOM_PATCH" into your Saints Row 2 root folder (where SR2_pc.exe is located).
7. Launch Saints Row 2 and visit the Plastic Surgeon to try the new natural skintones!
