Do you have any evidence of the patch/rerelease project being still alive and active, like screenshots, videos, or any progress report?

I wouldn't have posted anything if there was any evidence of life.

Ah my bad. Sorry for misunderstanding.

I hope someone will eventually leak SR2 PC Source Code, or sells this IP to a more capable company. This game and IdolNinja don't deserve any of this.
 
the IP is stuck at DS, which means at the hand of Embracer. unless you got 2 billion dollars that they couldn't get which is what led them to burn Volition to the ground, I doubt they will release it and sell it to anyone else who love and cherish the IP

yeah, Juiced/Reloaded is our only hope right now, it will take the max of thing it can do, sadly it won't have unique things that could be done with full source code, and ability to play DLC's is under question

Curiously, the Saints Row IP and Volition was bought for around $22m in 2013. Given Embracer's state of affairs, it's quite possible someone could buy the whole IP for a similar price tag now. And yes, that would be the whole franchise. Every Saints Row game, all of the source code (that Embracer still possesses), all the 3d models, textures, and assets, and so forth.

So, you know, $22m. That's just couch-cushion change, right? Who doesn't have that lying around?
