Hi, hello and welcome! This is the new official thread for SR2 Juiced Patch.

Untitled.png

Latest Juiced Patch version is Version 5.3.2.

What is Juiced Patch?

Juiced Patch is a collaboration of fixes and enhancements for Saints Row 2 created by Me, Tervel and Clippy95
using an inject-able DLL file running using the Monkey Patch framework backend by Scanti.

What features and/or fixes does Juiced Patch include?

- Better Windowed mode support
- Borderless Windowed replacement for Windowed
- Fixed FPS by the use of the SleepHack option (Note: this option heavily increases CPU usage.)
- An Uncap FPS Toggle Slightly Extended Render Distance
- Fixed Cutscene/Object Syncage
- Fixed audio playback on Windows Machines
- Slew Mode (Freecam)
and much... much more.

Where can i download this?

You can download SR2 Juiced Patch right from the official Kobraworks Website.
If you're having issues accessing the website here's a direct link to the Google Drive folder containing all of the released updates for Juiced Patch.
and an alternative link for Mega.NZ

Is there a detailed change-log list so i can see each and every new addition?

Yes! We host it in both of the Mega.NZ and Google Drive folders, here's a quick link to access that changelog.

HOW TO INSTALL

Simply drag all of the contents in the zip file of the Juiced Patch version you just installed (besides readme.txt) into your Saints Row 2 Game Files, edit and configure reloaded.ini, run your game. Its as simple as that.

This is amazing work you've done, thanks so much. I've been playing with juiced patch for about a week now and the game just works!

i like this mod. but i have some issue with this mod like car boucing with no reason
like clippy said, first time hearing of this, but most high fps/frametime issues can be resolved by capping your framerate to 60 fps or under. 60 should do.

Known issues we're aware of for higher fps/frametime for sure currently is
Bike crash ejections being way easier to happen,
and car powerslide skidding making no noise

First time hearing of this and only seeing it on the PS3 version, it's most likely the FixFramerate option.
I remember seeing this issue mentioned briefly in the old thread too.

Speaking of the old thread, It's nice to have you here on SRM, Uzis! I hope this thread will be kept updated whenever there's a new release. I missed many of them due to the old thread not being updated.

An issue I mentioned in the old thread is still present, despite Clippy's attempt to fix it in v5.1.1. The turning radius of vehicles reduces when the FOV is lowered.

Also; When using either "Hide HUD" or "Slew Mode" in the Wardrobe/Clothing Stores, one of either of the Playa's feet is sometimes removed.

This is not related to VIDs because the shape of the cut separating the foot from the ankle is different, and it also affects any worn clothing Items when it happens. It can be temporarily fixed in-game by playing & exiting a Cutscene Replay.

As always, I'm loving this project. It has made working on my own projects much easier!
(Btw; A full official list of controls for Slew Mode would be welcomed!)

We're aware of this issue. Not sure what exactly causes it but we're thinking its due to either SleepHack or LAA patching. It needs more investigation though. It can generally happen at any time during gameplay, no matter what you're doing. I've had it happen when entering vehicles.

It's something i would love to fix if the cause has been figured out eventually.

It's just hard because it's not easy to replicate unfortunately.

That's understandable. It doesn't happen every time.

I'm not using SleepHack. I'm also not using any extended render distance options.

The only Graphics options I'm using are: Borderless, BetterAmbientOcclusion, DisableScreenBlur and RemoveBlackBars.
I'm also using DisableFog, but the bug was occurring before I enabled that.
