ReFabricated is a texture patch dedicated to improving clothing textures in Saints Row 2.
All texture fixes in the ReFabricated Patch will also apply to NPCs throughout the game!

(Compatible with Vanilla, GotR and M2M.)

WHAT DOES THIS PATCH FIX?:

Materials:

Some overexaggerated clothing materials have been smoothed over. This leaves clothing looking more natural.

FUTURE OF DEVELOPMENT:
This mod is subject to change. I plan on adding and improving various elements going forward. This is an ongoing project. But v1.0 is considered a full release.
I am open to suggestions for further improvements. Requests for specific retextures will be considered.

maybe I am weird, but for the white color shirt (both for character and for the cops in cutscene), as well as the jeans, I prefer the original looks, they look like real clothes I would see irl, the rest however are outstanding with the new looks, especially the hawaiian shirt, bulldog jacket and the roller-skates

That's a fair comment. Not everyone will like all of the changes in this patch. The thing is, many Items use the same "Material" texture for different things. EG: The "Beat Cop" Hat uses the same Material texture as "Basic Tee". While the new texture might look better for one Item, it might look objectively worse on another.

Imo, the denim texture looked too overdone (ie: too "deep", "sharp" and "oversized"). It's too much detail for what you would be able to see from the typical camera distance.

For the Workshirts in particular, their other textures do look a little low-res. Maybe I'll have a look into that for the next update.

hmmm.. i never did notice but yeah, the denim looks like its under a microscope and then stretched out, where as irl you wouldnt see that pattern unless you were up close. looking forward to how this mod develops

yea i see it now after installing it anyways, this mod is so awesome, it makes clothes look so much.
it seemed before clothes got worse the higher my resolution was.
thank you for all your hard work.
