Saints Row 2 Juiced Patch

Unfortunately this update seems to crash my game no matter what I change. In fact, I also tried 7.2.0, 7.1.0, 7.0.0, 6.0.1, 6.0.0 which all crashed except 5.3.2 which was the version I was on before updating to 7.2.1. So basically, what changed from 5.3.2 to 6.0.0 that would cause the game to crash?

Interesting, seems that the game crashes with 7.2.1 on my Win 11 machine but on my Steam Deck with the same mods installed, the game does not crash with 7.2.1.
at what point does it crash? on initial startup? loading into a save? try turning off a bunch of settings and see if the crashing stops potentially
 
Juiced Patch 7.2.2 out now.
Welp. It's finally happened to me too:

Installed v7.2.2, hit "Insert" to open the lua console, got this error.
Reverted back to v7.1.0, and it still crashes the game, but without the error.
The lua console worked fine before I upgraded.

Really weird. Ill look into this, for now can you see if anything will change if you use the default reloaded.ini file provided with Juiced instead of yours? see if that changes anything, if you already are then maybe a setting is broken that we need to fix

does LUADebugPrintF=0 fix it?
The crash on both v7.1.0 and v7.2.2 was related to a project I'm working on. I'm adding more "warp" Triggers, which are permanently loaded. Each one of those has a custom prompt message. There seems to be a limit to how many non-localized characters I can use for that. When exceeding it, my game crashes when loading the save. I reduced the number of characters, but it was still near the limit when the lua console crashed my game. I wonder if it's because the characters used in the lua console itself were exceeding that memory limit when it was opened.

Tldr; The issue is on my end. I've made adjustments and it works perfectly now. Sorry for the panic.

Btw; "NoClip" is the exact tool I need right now, so thank you! (Is the Playa supposed to be doing the "Streaking Stand" animation while using it?) Also thanks for looking into the WineGlass shader issue!
