Saints Row 2 Peg Texture Tool

I made a new texture tool because there was a bug in old PegTool.
Have also been added several new features.
Please see the user's manual for more information.

--- what's new in this version ---
Version 1.28

Changed to check the automatic detection of transparent tgn texture by the file name
instead of checking the contents of the image. This is to prevent black and white
transparent textures from being falsely detected.
Add POINT_ADAPTIVE filter.
More detailed settings are now possible when converting a single png image to dds.
Added the function to remove embedded information such as color space from png files.
Replace latest texconv.exe (version 2020.11.12.1).

Edit: If you have more info on the SR2 peg formats, I'd love to see that information released publicly - be it as a source code release or as documentation. Sharing info like this helps the community immensely.

Nice work. perfect timing too, i just reinstalled saints row 2.
 
Update sr2pegtool v0.9.0.b to v0.9.1.b.

Add R5G6B5 format support.
Fix mipmaplevel calculation bug.
Fix minor bug around PSNR evaluation.

So THIS is how you got the DXTC format to work. Great!

Thanks a lot, I always wanted some good ol' texture compression.
 
Version 0.96

Supports texture with multiple frames.
Editing of animation textures, such as explosion became possible.
Since causes of freeze when utilizing SSE instruction set is unknown, it is not available in this version.

Does this also make adding multiple frames possible?

Because, if so, I got an idea for weapon textures then.
