That's odd, try with a complete unistallation. Before the reinstallation make sure that there's no Saints Row 2 folder in the common folder. Other than that, does it work with a new game?

Press Windows + R, then paste this AppData\Local\THQ\Saints Row 2 and click OK

Hi, I'm having some trouble with SR2. I want to shoot while the npc is driving, I was able to make it work by entering the passenger seat, but it doesn't always work. Is there another way to force it? Thanks.

Try to remove the profile.dat from your AppData\Local\THQ\Saints Row 2 folder
