that's what they did for the german version. they removed all drug references etc. the best option would be to have it as a setting (show/hide censors/blood) like in a lot of games there is already a difficult option in the game. However i do think there should be an additional hardcore mode...

as long as it's good quality ;) . what you could maybe do also is put some of the volition livestreams in as an mp3 or some shit. that might be funny to listen to, or perhaps awful. you could also get the television shows from the start menu and make them into talk shows (?) or use cutscenes...
