Last weekend I succeeded in porting the 'wild child pants' from SR3 to SR4.
This by placing the .cmorph_pc file into the SR4 root folder along with its associated .str2_pc file (and an updated .asm_pc file of course). You could also try this when adding extra clothing from SR3.
This mod may give compatibility issues when using it with mikado 's mod. That because his mod also uses the 'customize_item.asm_pc'.
To solve this you can copy the 'customize_item.asm_pc' of the 'SRIV Clothes Fixes' and overwrite the one of 'Shiny Clothes 4 MC' (you can find that it in...
I 've found a fix for the 'wild child pants', finally! You can download it at the start of this topic.
For those curious of how I succeeded, you can find the whole explanation here ;).
I 've found (more or less) a fix for this issue.
Earlier I 've tried to work around this by using the SR3 files of the 'wild child pants'. But unfortunatly this led to frequent gamecrashes. After long searching the answer to the cause of it seemed more obvious than I thought.
When you search...
That 's a pity. Until now I 've spend a few hours with the hex editor, attempting to remove that annoying glitch out of the SR4 'wild child pants' as well as trying to make the SR3 'wild child pants' work without the game crashing all the time. Eventually with no results.
Now that 's where the issue occurs. An alpha channel is indeed used with the 'wild child pants' to create the holes in the leggings (or in the SC4MC mod to make the leggings disappear completely). And as you can see at the screenshots shown earlier, the player 's legs are revealed as long as you...
It seems the wild child pants in Saints Row IV does have a graphical glitch. When you see the vanilla version, the leggings have holes in it that reveal the player 's legs. While the legs are visible in the wardrobe they seem to appear black ingame as you can see at the screenshots:
I 've...
Like "Shiny clothes for the main character" for SR3, this mod changes the specular settings in the .ccmesh_pc files of a particular set of clothing, so they appear shiny ingame.
Currently I 'm trying to port all the recurring clothes that were modded in the previous game.
Install instructions...
Thanks for the Nyte Blayde Pack that you 've given me. I 've modded the Bloody Canoness Suit and I 'll upload it here until I release my next update. Enjoy ;)
Strange, this is an issue that doesn 't sound familiar to me.
I suggest you uninstall my mod and then check out if the problem still occurs.
To uninstall you have to go to the SRTT 's root folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\saints row the third)
and delete all files named...
"Porno and Murder" doesn 't seem to make use of files that conflict with my mod.
Perhaps if you can tell me which clothing you wanted to use when your character became invisible, then I can check my mod for possible bugs.
No, you don 't need a dissembler for this. A hex editor is enough to change the specular settings, though it took me a few hours of trial & error in the beginning to find out which hexstrings needed to be changed.
To change the specular settings you have to open the clothing 's .ccmesh_pc file...
