Whoa. Welcome back Squash!
Can you give us any updated info on this? How is stability? Does it work with the GotR mod?
Maybe IdolNinja could add this and Strogglet's Weapon Re-texture Project to the upcoming GotR 2.0. ;)
I take it you won't be finishing work on other textures in game? Maybe...
You may need to see if you can seek out the OP. Which may be difficult as his name is Squash and he only made one post here with no contact info on his profile and he hasn't responded to PMs.
I have checked dat shit out yo. As I did look around online before posting here. Seriously though thanks. So back to the drawing board I guess....
I mean all other games work except this one that needs that work around. However others don't have this issue.
So yeah.... I don't get it....
I get it so I guess this is answered and done.
The main issue with Multiplayer getting people to join in the first place before it can even be modded lol.
Thank you for taking time to answer these questions.
For some reason I have to disable my network adapter and leave the virtual lan adapter enabled then load SR2 and host a LAN game then alt+tab and re-enable the network adapter for it to work?
Not everyone has this issue so how I fix this?
So then perhaps Multiplayer could have like free roam Deathmatch in the entire city or maybe new modes like capture the flag or something?
New modes would be cool if modders were up the the task the at least. ;)
Well maybe the game could be modded & tweaked to support more players that is if more players can be added. Check this post and my reply below: http://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/threads/more-co-op-players-or-any-type-of-multiplayer-support.6196/#post-57696
So Saints Row 2 at least has a glimmer of hope?
- So first things first is to find a way to spawn in more players possibly with cheat engine for now.
- Then mission and mission cut scene testing.
- Then make a thread in the mod request section and see what happens? As modders would need...
LOL need someone who knows Cheat Engine to figure this out.
If you want to try to Multiplayer though we can give that a whirl sometime with like Evolve.
For example Saints Row 2. What if you were able to trick the game and spawn more players? Like this example: https://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/threads/trying-to-fix-the-saints-row-2-multiplayer.6160/#post-57577
(Someone even modded Vegas 2 for up to 16 player co-op and the game was only made...
Sounds good.
Does anyone wanna mess with an experiment of adding more co-op players? https://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/threads/trying-to-fix-the-saints-row-2-multiplayer.6160/#post-57577
This guide: http://www.wikihow.com/Play-More-Than-4-Players-in-Rainbow-Six-Vegas
However the instructions aren't very clear and I have never used Cheat Engine. Any help on getting this to work would be much appreciated as I have a 5th player and it would be nice to get everyone to play. We all...
Would using something like cheat engine to allow more players in work?
Like it does for this game. This persons instructions aren't the clearest though: http://www.wikihow.com/Play-More-Than-4-Players-in-Rainbow-Six-Vegas
Need testers for this....
Anyone wanna see what happens when you spawn...
You know I heard Saints Row 2 Multiplayer didn't work well with GameSpy. I wonder if it works better over LAN?
Speaking of games working better over LAN. I found System Shock 2 CO-OP works better on Evolve than over it's net connection. (Still save often though. At bulkheads and before loading...
Since I already have a group that I co-op games with. Evolve has been excellent. I personally can't think of a reason to use Tunngle unless I want to find more people to play with for a specific game as not a ton of people have flocked to Evolve yet....
I might give Tunngle and GameRanger a...
Just use Evolve: www.evolvehq.com
Or scroll down to view alternatives for Hamachi: http://alternativeto.net/software/hamachi/
I've found Evolve to be the easiest. Heard great things about Tunngle & GameRanger too.
Hamachi is okay just okay. There is way better programs though. I wouldn't...
