It does require steam to play, but later on I use a cracked exe so I don't have to go on to steam every time. It is 1.0 actually. Well, I swap back the exe and patch it up, it doesn't matter whether that three line is there or not, the game runs fine. That explains, thanks you for your time.

It doesn't say, but it should be the international version. I am a Taiwanese and I bought it in the local store. It was Chinese by default, but I can choose if I want the game to be in ten or so other languages like English or French. I don't think it's the Japan version as I can't find Japanese...
