Mesh morphing is now working! This was the last big component from my side before we could fully release functional customization tools. @Donhonk will need to do some more testing but, soon!
You can likely edit the player character body, but right now the memory is so tight any modifications made would likely result in the game not loading properly if memory goes over. I think @[V] Knobby will be looking at the memory modifications so this won't be a problem in the future.
The best guess I have here is that either your python installation was 64bit and you have installed the 32 bit wx python. Or vice-versa, your Python26 is 32bit and your Wx Install was 64bit. Try to make sure both of those are the same.
Update:
I just handed off some files to @Donhonk to test out clothing customization. Hopefully, we'll soon be to a point where we can release customization updates to you guys.
@flow754 What are your Maya scene settings? What the tool is expecting from Maya is Y up and Centimeters, the same settings for the FBX export settings as well. I would try bringing your fbx into an actual template scene and exporting with that for a test if you could.
I'd be curious if...
@flow754 If you could pass along your fbx scene before you made any odd modifications, maybe @Donhonk or myself could take a look. @Donhonk cleaned up the "templates" for direct use inside of Maya but the non-weapon templates found in the SR3/4 .7zip archive are all directly out of 3dsmax and...
Also, can you check the "output" folder where your FBX file lives. If the low res cpeg and gpeg files in there are 0kb, then that could explain why they are white. Can you take a screenshot of your Output folder and the names and filesizes in there?
There doesn't appear to be any output files in your zip.
The name of the mesh should be named consistent with the mesh/weapon you are modifying. So if the template mesh name is "PumpShotgun" then your mesh should be named "PumpShotgun". This is necessary so that when packaging it can find the...
I am unsure what you are getting files output like that, I suppose I'd have to see your output folder files and maybe even your fbx file. Also, the name of the mesh in your FBX scene should be the same name as an existing weapon template, one that you may be replacing.
Can you take a screenshot of the errors and the black command window if it happens to be open?
It helps to be really specific with any errors that you may get so that I can help properly :)
Right, I would say try to read and follow the video tutorials. If you are just editing the textures and can open the SaintsRow_FBX_converter.py tool, import the fbx file in the folder of the textures you are editing and go through the conversion/package process there.
