No problem! Turns out that the male and female version use the same texture so it only took about 5 minutes to do. :p

Lady Deadpool version added! It's a little weird that the eyelashes go through it but I assume that was a problem with the Skeleton Mask tool.

The main mask color should be changeable when you buy it.

This is just a retexture of the skeleton mask. To obtain it in the game, simply purchase the skeleton mask at Let's Pretend. It's not perfect but it is a lot of fun to use, especially with Nolan North as the voice actor! To install: Unzip and drop the files into your Saints Row IV program...

Fair enough, that makes sense. I've updated the tutorial and replaced about 10 misuses of the word "file." For some reason, the worst of this was that I kept referring to the "Saints Row IV file." Thanks for pointing this out! Let me know if it looks better.

You shouldn't be repacking customize_character.asm_pc, only updating it. p.s. Don't worry too much about the infinite loading... I had that problem before and once we figure out where you went wrong, your save file will be perfectly fine.

Here's one that's just the custmesh file. Repack it and update the ASM_PC file at the same time and you should be all set. (See step 9!)

Here's the modded file and the updated ASM_PC file. Just drop them both in your main Saints Row IV file and it should be all set. If you've added mods before and already have a modified ASM_PC file, then let me know and I'll give you a more complicated set of files so you don't mess up anything...

Hooray! I'm so excited that people are actually using this, so thanks for letting me know that you are! I made this hoping to save a few people from the process I went through, and I guess it's working! :D

I've never had to! But then again, I don't even technically know what mipmaps are. If you wait a couple hours I'm sure someone will show up with a better answer, but in the meantime... nope, don't bother. :)

Once you go through the process once, it only ever takes about 2 minutes to pack and unpack every texture after that. It looks worse than it is!

Bloodjack: I'm not sure if there's a way that people usually share works, but I see no reason not to share them by uploading the final "custmesh" folder. That way, people can easily update their ASM_PC while they compress and I imagine it'd work just fine.

I ended up making Deadpool. :D
