Thanks to knobby at the Steam hub for SR4, I've found out it's somehow related to the game trying to tell the other player I have something they do not.
I'm not sure why this doesn't crash them immediately upon entering, but trying another person entirely after a fresh install yields the same...
I've been playing SRIV with my brother, and he "crashes" every time we hit retry on any mission. Whether he's a host or client, in all actuality. Singleplayer is fine. He uses Windows 10, more specifically I believe this is the computer (I recall it being upgraded from Windows 8) ...
I recently bought the Humble pack to experience this game again with my little brother. It's been good bonding, we got through SR3 and started SRIV.
When we got to the mission where you first escape the sim, we had to retry a few times, and each time it was a crash when hitting "retry from...
Except there's no online in Fallout... Here we already have co op

Wasn't there a mod that made skyrim play online? Also Just Cause 2 has an online mod now too
Not impossible, just a lot of effort. This wouldn't be done without the official mod tools I'm betting, it might even need the help of Volition/Deep Silver
Not to mention that if you didn't know that stuff you probably are just now looking into the game at all. They heavily advertised all of what I said

I know there's gonna be a mission replay at some point, but I was curious about cutscene replay. One thing I always loved about replaying Saints Row games is taking screenshots of various outfits during the time they look the coolest- cutscenes.
