It's only the npc behavior mod that breaks HTSSC correct? Could I install only the mods that add items and then when I'm finished with the DLC re-add the whole modpack without issue?

How safe is it to play the game with the HTSSC DLC installed, and is there any progress loss in uninstalling the mod pack, playing the Christmas DLC, and reinstalling the mod pack (such as having to rebuy mod weapons)?

Thank you, it seems to be working now. The three mods that I had to disable were Mission Replay, Extended Vehicle Customization, and Extended Sliders. It also seems to only work in a loose build.
