I have GOTR installed (no optional mods) and am running the game on windows 8. However, after about 20-30 minutes of playing the fps drops to an unplayable level. strangely enough it only seems to happen when in vehicles. The lag doesnt subside and when i go to the main menu and try reloading...
i can start a new game its only when i load then it crashes on the loading screen. its proper annoying, i've already done fresh install of both saints row 2 and gotr it didn't help. any help would be appreciated.

Do you see how awful this pic looks with hud? So yea I wanted to find a mod that removes hud and I found SR2 HUD Control mod. The mod desc says I need Gotr to create custom path blah blah blah.

I wouldnt care but the fact that the Appointed Defender mission needs you buy clothes there means i cant progress the game
And worse i dont think i can buy weapons
And playing a saints row game with Pepperspray, A Shotgun, A Pistol and Nightstick makes it impossible to have fun
