Say guys, i was reading over the modding community, and was wondering how likely it is for something like this to be done. I have a few ideas for improving the quality of Vehicles in SR:TT, such as handling or control schemes, so tell me what ya think.
Mouse Controls for Flying Vehicles.
The first thing i'd like to recommend is an Airplane and Helicopter control scheme similar to BF:3's. Using a mouse as a control stick for airplanes, or to control the rotors pitch and roll on a helicopter would make them a bit more difficult to fly, however with practice one could pilot them much more fluidly.
Hand Brake
Another thing i'd like to know is if it's possible to actually add a hand brake to cars. Instead of propelling the car forward, it'd simply drag the back wheels instead. It'd be useful for those moments when ya wanna make a sudden U-turn without coming to a total stop.
More Realistic Driving Physics?
This is sort of out there, as it'd take a bit of work, but integrating a tire grip model and reworking a number of cars so they'd be less twitchy, as well as including a few AWD or FF cars. I understand the game is stylized and accessible, but perhaps some of us would prefer playing with cars that have some basis in reality!
