SRIV Alien Jet Bike and STAG spectre

I was testing something today. I changed the notoriety_spawns.xtbl file so that instead of the alien jet bike with an zin warrior on it instead a STAG spectre bike spawns with a STAG soldier on it. The spectre and stag soldier are still in the game and can both be spawned fully functional.

But the problem is, the STAG hover bike with the soldier on it spawns but it just starts flying in a random direction instead of attacking the boss at a notoriety level.

So is there a way to give AI the same behaviour with the spectre as with the alien hoverbike (don't know the alien vehicle names yet :/ ) The spectre and alien hover bike are almost identical the same when it comes to handling so I'm sure it is possible.

You could replace the Model of the <XOR> with the Spectre inside the vehicles.xtbl
That would do the trick.
Also this shouldn't be in 'Ask Volition'.

Questions about why AI works correctly with certain vehicles and not others definitely sounds like something that Volition would need to answer.
 
I know I had a similar question, in addition to attempting to make Specter's attack, I also tried to recreate the old blackhawk chopper spawns with swat guys dropping from ropes, and police helicopters with snipers. All the animations and resources are still in files, but the AI just flies off into no man's land.
So is there a way to change the AI for a vehicle? I looked through the specter's and <Xor>'s tables and they were near identical.
