Anyone using a Mod Manager?

Its simple to download mods and drop them in the SR4 directory but I figured I'd ask if anyone is using an actual Mod Manager to manage all current mods installed? Maybe something that can keep track of all mods and delete them if need be?

There aren't even enough SR IV mods in existence to require a mod manager...

Nothing wrong with using something ahead of time to be prepared for such things.

I find it hard to believe something doesn't already exist honestly, if the game is highly moddable and there are mods available, why not create a mod launcher with more control, seems like a no-brainer.

I'm pretty sure that if something related to Saints Row modding can't be found here, it doesn't exist at all.

The only thing like a mod manager that existed was Gentlemen of the Row for SR2 and Gentlemen of Steelport for SR3. There is no Gentlemen of Fake Steelport yet. Those weren't exactly mod managers in the sense you are thinking of, but they contained a variety of mods and a command interface through which you could add or remove components.

Considering that (currently) mods are limited to editing existing files and not adding new standalone files, it would be a bad idea to let it be automated. The failing would be when you try to add in more than 1 mod that edit the same game files.

We could make something that attempts to merge xtbl files and updates asm files. If the merging process were to fail, you'd have to do it manually anyway.
Or you could ask the user for which sections of the xtbl file to use and build a new one from that. For example you could read the
tags in weapons.xtbl and ask which ones to use.
