Are cars in the garage supposed to not have grime?

Today, I stole a SAPS Anchor, and stored it in my garage. I come and get it later, and I noticed it had dirt all over it. Somewhere I read, when cars are stored into the garage, they will always be dirty. This is just something I noticed..
