Auto move?

I'm still not certain what triggers it, but sometimes my character keeps on moving by itself -I do not use the directional keys, but my avatar keeps walking. Usually changing a weapon, getting in or out of a vehicle will reset everything back to normal. I once observed this odd behaviour after climbing over a wall.
Sometimes my VTOL -when in flight mode- keeps banking to the right and my directional key that would normally make me bank to the left is not working -I think this might be connected to changing the Fly mode from Advanced to Normal while already being airborne in the VTOL.
Has anyone else encountered this phenomenon, or is it just me?

I haven't seen it myself. I'd be suspicious of any other control devices attached to the system at the same time, but you'd think that would cause a problem all the time, not just intermittently. All of the previous reports of problems like this that i've seen were a constant effect.

Usually, if the methods I mentioned prove futile, I just save and load -I'm back at the nearest crib and all is okay.
