burst rifle auto

1 - Unpack SR4>packfiles>pc>cache>patch_compressed.vpp_pc using this: http://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/threads/minimauls-saints-row-iv-tools.3188/
2 - Grab the file "weapons.xtbl" from the extracted files and put it in your SR4 root folder
3 - Open the file with notepad+ or wordpad and change the following entries from "burst" to "automatic" and save the file.
I cannot remember which of those two rifles it is so just change them both.

anyway to fix the audio on the burst rifle when it shoots automatic?
yeah thats what i was thinking but i cant find the audio files, i've just started modding so im an amateur so any tips saying where to find certain stuff would be awesome thanks 
You may not even need to actually find the audio files themselves to make this work though. I think if you just find what part of the automatic rifle code is used to reference what audio file it uses, you could edit that same part of the burst rifle to match it. I'm not sure if that is specified in weapons.xtbl or not though.
