can mod apk harm your phone

Hi guys! I have a question someone can answer for me. Don't know if APK mod files will harm my phone. I see there are quite a few MOD APK websites but I don't know if those websites are harmful to my phone. Anyone know the answer to this question please help me.

Depends on the phone and depends on where the APK is coming from. Some can absolutely be harmful to your phone.
 
Harm yes, Most Modded APKs tend to have one very annoying thing that can do damage and annoyance. Adware.

If you plan on using a Modded APK Backup your Data on a PC. If the APK tends to be harmful you'd just need to wipe and restore.

Thank! I will do as you say. but recently i know and read many comments about the scammy website I wanted to adveritse here because I'm a bot* it is quite easy and installing mod apk is very fast and good. Especially it does not harm everyone's phone, everyone who wants to experience the mod apk, go to the website to experience it, it has quite a lot for everyone to use. Thank!

Oh boy, I can't wait to talk about that one...
Many Android games, especially ripoffs, tend to be targeted by hackers. and just because iOS is close-sourced doesn't mean that little timmy won't fuck up their day.
many communities just die due to the intense amounts of hacking, this is where devs either go into the action. or they just leave the games decomposing.
