Having finally acquired unlimited sprint in my Upgrades, I find it is no longer active during the Zombie Eradication for Mayor Reynolds. This really rubs me the wrong way, as it is my one tactic to stay out of the zombie hordes. Having to deal with zombie attack upon zombie attack my character must be brainless by now. Once I've extricated myself from one feeding frenzy, I'm getting jostled into the next one. Not having my unlimited sprint makes this one of the most annoying missions of the whole game.
I figured I'd simply blast the area free of the undead and then move in. But it's just like George Romero's zombie flicks -he just keeps on making more of them, eh, no, the zombies keep on coming in. Whole herds of them. In droves.
To cut a very long story short: can unlimited sprint be re-enabled during this mission? Although I'm afraid this might be a hard-coded issue, since the runfast cheat does not work.
Any suggestions? Or shared tactics, strategies, etc.
BTW Viola isn't much of a help.
