SPOILERS Can't open door in prologue mission

Right when you have to open a gate to get to the "comm room". The fence/door/gate has a gold hand icon but the "open door" message doesn't come up, thus I can't open the door and progress to the point.

right here at 7:57. That's the door I can't open. The "open door" message doesn't pop up.

Anticipated this game for months, pre-ordered it and bought the season pass and I get a bug that doesn't let me progress past the prologue mission. Ugh... now I really want a refund.
 
Can we safely assume you own the fully-legal Steam version of SR4?
Could you, perhaps, link your Steam account to your Forum account?
Click on your name in the upper right corner and select Steam Integration
 
Oh good.

The door won't open if Pierce is there, it's possible the route you were taking was getting him cut off? Not really sure. No one else has reported this issue that I've seen.
 
Yeah I think it was cuz I had another controller plugged in. I think that f'd things up.

EDIT: LOL the other comp had a controller too.

That's interesting. I'll get a bug report submitted and see if that can make it into the next patch.
