Carry More Weapons and Quick-Use powers (just press one button rather than selecting then using)

I'd really like to be able to carry more weapons, this game has a lot of cool ones, but I just end up using the ones I like the most, is there anyway to make the game allow more weapons or change weapon category restrictions so you can carry more than one of each type of weapon?

And I'd like to be able to map certain keys to quick use each of the powers. I currently have them mapped to my buttons on my mouse so I can switch to the individual powers real quick, but there's no way to just use them right away... I have more than enough buttons, so and it's really annoying having to select between them (especially because I can't just scroll through them like I can with the weapons)

I'm willing to mod these myself if someone can tell me it's possible and help me get started.
 
I agree! I want the Dubstep Gun and McManus rifle at the same time! Or the Disintegrator and a rifle of some sort. I'd definitely like to see a mod like this come out.
