Clothing modding

I'd like to request a tutorial to sort of point people in the right direction for making new clothes. I understand it's not necessarily in the works in any mod currently -- adding NPC clothing aside -- but with a guide that at least starts on the right path, perhaps some one will pick up the gauntlet?

Unfortunately, there is no right direction since we don't have any kind of mesh tools to even start thinking about it yet.
