Crashing in options

I downloaded GOTR and began a new game my pc is really shit ( i have a windows 7 ) so the game was running like shit i tried to change the graphics quality to medium or low but everytime i hit confirm the game crashes and it happens everytime i enter the options and if i leave the graphics on high the game will crash after the prison escape mission

Here, you can use my settings.dat file. Extract the file then put the file into your C:\Users\*****\AppData\Local\THQ\Saints Row 2 (where ***** represents your Username), folder then start the game, you will have the lowest settings possible and in window mode.
