Hello, I was wondering why [V] shipped out DLC2 (Gangstas in Space) without thoroughly checking their files.
By this I'm referring to the broken Scythe bike's sound files. I noticed the Gentlemen mod fixes this.

Why is it that you guys shipped out your DLC without fixing this?
(Or rather, why hasn't an update been sent out to fix the issues)

(Not trying to be rude, I feel this is a legitimate question)

Well, you are being rude. Please review rule #1 before attempting any further posts.

Be sure to follow it if for no other reason than Wil Wheaton's birthday is coming up, and he dedicated that day to not being a dick.

Also:
The publisher was more of the issue here. THQ was pushing DLC out the door before V had the time to thoroughly check it. In some cases, it got shipped broken even though the bug had already been fixed.

From what I've heard, THQ was quite pushy when they still existed. Many devs under their thumb, [V] included, were always pressured to complete projects before certain deadlines, which at times got rescheduled to be sooner. As a reminder, SR2's PC version was an afterthought that only got made because THQ brought it up at the last minute, and was the reason the port was worked on by CD Projekt instead of Volition.

So, to make a long answer short, jonthedit:

THQ sucked to work for, that's why the Gangstas in Space DLC was broken when it was released.

THQ is still technically in the middle of bankruptcy liquidation, I think. Volition is now owned, and Saints Row published, by Deep Silver. Much of the development took place while under THQ still though.
