When using the Dubstep gun DLC the NPC's just do the same dubstep moves from the original gun. I'm not sure if this is a glitch.....or sadly just how it was meant to be. In the DLC description it talks about making mosh pits and swing dancing. At first I thought it was a bug, but then I noticed the video never actually shows the NPC's dancing.

Nah they still do the same thing as before, they do the "ride it hard" dance among other things, broken up by the beat.
The difference is that the actual projectiles from the gun come out at different rhythms and intensities to do with the music.

Ah ha.....well that kinda sucks. More of an in house mod, then DLC. Kinda hope'n it was just broken.
