Energy Sword Range

I'm using the weapon costume that came with the anime pack, which makes the sword bigger, but the attack range is still the same, so it clips through enemies without hurting them sometimes. Could someone make a mod to extend the range, or tell me how to do it myself?

EDIT: Whoops, wrong forum. Could someone move this to the SRIV mod request forum?
