Extremely Laggy

It is extremely Laggy for me, I have about 10 FPS, I can't even hold down the w key because the game will freeze for about 15 seconds. Any tips on how to fix this?
Also, when I try to run on DirectX 9, it crashes.
 
What's your hardware and OS?


BTW Everybody, I checked his profile and he has bought the game. Wow.

Yeah. I think it does. The bad thing about getting a graphic card is that it's not my computer. I may just tough it out and wait until I can get a new pc. A gaming pc. Thanks for the help.
 
A new computer? DO NOT BUY A COMPLETE COMPUTER! Just a warning. Mine was built in 2008 and since that I swapped my GeForce 9800 GT to GeForce GTS 450. Works better than a 2011 complete computer in the same price (3000 PLN=1000 EURO, I think). Maybe I will swap the old man in 2015 :D

He wants to get his own PC.

That would require purchasing a complete computer.
