Frozen Loading Screen after the opening credits

okay four weeks ago i got shitfaces wonderful NPC Behavior mod right? but then i accidentally put in the preload_anim in the files of the mod as a preload_anime (2), i got advice saying to delete the second one and just merge the two, i did so but nothing worked, the problem was still happening

so i was told to verify my cache, and i did, but nothing worked, ever since this right after the opening credits with all the developers, it just shows a loading bar that never moves instead of the main menu screen

if anyone can fully help me with this problem, thank you, thank you very much
 
your droping a VPP into your root for a start :P

and why are you trying to merge animation files :S, do you have to seprate mods that use the same file or are you trying to merge the same file with its self

Also are all these files fixed to work with the last update

your best off deleting the files one by one to work out what file causes the problem

yeah theyre fixed to work since i made my SR4 to update as soon as an update arrives
 
Hey, sorry for the problems. My mod along with others which also add new entries to character.xtbl are currently affected by this bug. Until it's fixed, just follow the directions in the thread:

Bugs:
Currently having this mod installed will cause a freeze at the loading screen after mission one. The best way to avoid this is to uninstall the mod (.xtbl files only) or wait to install it before you play this mission, and install it once you reach Virtual Steelport.

i actually did remove the .xtbl files only and yet it still isnt working

I should smack you down for double-posting, but it's been a week without any kind of response so I'll let it slide for now.

Try following the steps in this thread to verify your game installation:

Shitface has been continuously releasing updated versions of his mod as bugs are found and fixed.
You may try reinstalling the newest version of the mod to see if that helps.
