Frozen Timers in Blazin

I initially thought that this was a problem on low spec machines because I didn't see anyone else reporting this issue but it seems that that isn't the case. The timer might tick for a few seconds at the beginning then freeze and unfreeze from time to time but most of the time the timer stays frozen. Its nothing game breaking but I thought that I make this post to inform the devs.
 
It's not a bug, instead of adding time at each checkpoint it freezes for that amount of time.
