As an easier way to deal with the interest of having the ability of editing your characters the way you want, I would think that it would serve as a purpose that we are given the ability to choose what they wear when we were located in the president's building. It seems simpler that way.
The idea sort of spawns from the usage of Inauguration Station when you get to upload your characters and put them on the official site of Saints Row. Since the recent problems with the main website has caused a number of issues and made "My Steelport" not functional at this time, I thought that the idea of clothing, tattoos and jewelry being available in the start is a good idea.
The reason why I suggest this is because I would like to have a way to begin with a custom character without the risk of possibly losing what we make for our gameplay, only to not be able to use the characters for quite a while.
I understand if Deep Silver and Volition are doing their best to fix the problems, though I think this idea could serve as a better solution in case if worse things come along the line. I am fully patient for the website's repairs, but I love the idea of editing my character again.
If allowed, can someone please make a mod where we can customize out characters without the needed usage of Inauguration Station? I understand if it cannot be done if it effects the Saints Row community of character sharing, though the idea of customizing characters without the need of a different program does sound nice.
