Repeating issue when trying to select the carjacking objective within "The Pledge" mission tree. Selecting it leaves the menu and a split moment later everything freezes with a slight haze to the graphics.
Have a couple other missions also ready to complete, Anomalous Readings has the superpower fight club and Gateway is waiting on a return to Kinzie. Had hoped to clear The Pledge before returning to the ship, but have run into an issue with the game completely freezing up, and hanging to terminate it from the task menu.
Additional detail: after terminating the program Steam pops up an error that a program cannot be started because the app is already running.
The hell. Just went into to repeat the error again to get the exact wording of the Steam error and now it is starting up the mission just fine.
Well, the issue was repeatable for awhile. Nothing has changed other that rummaging through report viewers and such for this post.
Here's an event log from one of the times Windows realized it had stopped working after I told it to terminated it. Only type of error related to the crash I can find in the logs.
Surprised that the save file isn't an approved extension for uploading to this. Well, I've got a copy of the relevant save set aside if you want it through some other means.
