He mentioned how day/night will work in this. In addition to how it gets lighter as the story progresses, you'll be able to change the time of day manually once you beat the game.

by the way, since i already pre-ordered mine on steam, i dont have to do that contest XD
so sr4 does run well on an aging laptop? sr3 ran fine with patches and sr2 ran ok too (with a bit of a freeze here and there.... but it resolves itself instantaneously)
