After once again being delayed, the game is coming to PC as a port on 14th April 2015. Those who have preordered the game will receive in-game $200k to be used in GTA Online.

GTAV for PC will come with all the updates previously came to console version, including Heist Update – which is coming on 10th March to all platforms after being delayed for 500+ days for the sake of ‘redesigning’. This means, just like in PS4/X1 version, all vehicles from previous updates will be available on the street. Previously, all new vehicles were only kept in the protagonists’ storage (single player). This makes the streets have more variety in vehicles even more. Not only that, PC version also supports range of graphic quality option, 4k resolution, and the ability to record and edit video just like in GTA IV.

PC version of GTAV will also have a new radio station presented by ‘The Alchemist’ and ‘Oh No’, the composers of GTAV scores. Other than what’s laid out above, PC users will get what PS4/X1 got. So don’t cry because you won’t get super-awesome-upgrade-total-different GTAV on your PC. It’s time to turn down your hype now, so you won’t get disappointed.

** GRAND THEFT AUTO ONLINE **

This is where you gonna roll after you’re done with the Story Mode. The world that’s actively watched by Rockstar will let you create your own characters (2 characters only allowed at the moment) with the improved-halfway-back-to-old-school character creator which allows you to customize face and give chest hair to your dude. Keep in mind that you can’t edit your body proportion. You’ll be stuck with beer-belly male and athletic female here. Well at least, you can create more than crack-addict face and cavemen kind of face with the improved feature.

After you leave the creator, you won’t be able to edit your character anymore, unless Rockstar giving you a chance to do it. The only thing you can edit is Hair, Eyebrows, Make-ups, and Chest Hair which you can access them in Barber Shop.

Not only hair and make-up, you can also buy range of clothes and masks. Remember, you cannot do cross-gender here. Like in Saints Row 2, you can choose your internal and external tops here.

Characters’ progress are saved differently, but you they will share money – if you put it in the bank. You can obtain money from dropped loot, sell car, robbing store, jobs like Deatmatch, Race, etc.; and also Contact Mission – which is a cooperative task with max players up to 8 depending on the fixed setting by Rockstar. Lastly, you can do Heist – which is coming to all console next week, to make money. Before and after missions, your character will be spawned back in Free Mode session which, just like PS4/X1, can keep up to 32 players in total which will make Los Santos into Gaza Strip war. For you animal-killing maniacs, there won’t be animals in Online mode. Also, some objects are removed and streets will be emptier to keep the game stability.

It is recommended to connect your Steam ID to Social Club later. You can create account by visiting here: socialclub.rockstargames.com

>> GTA Online - Heist Update

GTA Online Heist Update has been launched today for console bringing in tons of new stuff, including update interior details. PC players can expect this as what they will get day one.

>> GTA Online – Where Price Inflation and Difficulty Imbalances Lies On

In the early days of GTA Online, jobs were paying for what it’s worth, until something called Cash Cards comes up, and jobs are paying you peanuts and nerfing payout were massively executed now and then. Not only that, enemy AI was worsened into cheap difficulty, unlike in Single Player. You can expect craps like ultimate accuracy of enemy blindshooting, strength, and unlimited spawn behind you. Yep that happens. Too sour for you? Suck it up. This is a fact.

Because of this, a lot of people were giving complaints to Rockstar for the extreme difficulty and time spent for the less-than-peanut reward. Afterwards, Rockstar updated the game and turned the payout system which is still being used until now. Now, the more you spend time and the more members in mission, the more you get reward. Of course, it has minimum and maximum payout – and it’s still peanuts, but at least isn’t so bad like the post-cashcard update where missions tell you to kill mercenaries and spectacularly steal plane professionally but you still can’t even buy a pistol silencer.

>> GTA Online –Where You Can’t Own a Stolen High End Vehicle or Sell Them.

Unlike in GTAV (Single Player), in GTA Online there are two classes in every vehicles: Low End and High End. You stole an Infernus? You can’t own/sell it. Why? Because it’s ‘too hot’. Yep, I feel your ‘WTF’. In GTA Online, you have to buy these High End vehicles to own it. As for the Low End, you can just snatch it off the streets, bring it to mod shop, and purchase Insurance and Car Tracker.

You might be asking why the f*ck there’s ‘Insurance’. Exclusively in GTA Online, every vehicle you own has to have Insurance purchased (price is various) so if yours got blown up/drowning, you can claim the same vehicle again for a price (again, price is various). Buying vehicle, no matter High End or Low End, will automatically get them insured.

However, Insurance is only for Car and Bike. You cannot insure bicycle, watercraft, and aircraft. But don’t worry, watercraft and aircraft are stored in a special storage which won’t charge you extra payment for absolute damage. We will cover this in the next section.

>> GTA Online – Your Possession

In GTA Online, you will start as a low criminal making your way up. And in Los Santos, you gotta have possessions from guns to cars to help you make even more money. Of course, in GTA Online kind of financial crisis, you have to have a good financial management and a good investment instinct.

Let’s start from weaponry. For the first time, GTA lets you own every guns from every categories. You want AK47 with Carbine Rifle in your pocket? Sure you can. Grenade and Molotov? Yeah, sure. You can upgrade your guns with Silencer (which is useless until now due to the difficulty imbalance), Extended Magz, Scope, Flashlight, and Grip. But then again, keep in mind, price are so jacked up. So don’t be rushy and f*ck yourself deep in your ass.

Next stop, the properties. Who doesn’t want to own collection of cars and bikes? In GTA Online, you can buy apartment or garage. Apartment will include garage as well for extra price. Properties are divided into 3 kinds. Low (2 vehicles), Medium (6 vehicles), and High End (10 vehicles). Maximum properties you can own until now is three. Apart from being a social hub, High End Apartment has been total useless until now. It was meant to be used for Heist planning. So make sure you own later since your PC version will come with Heist. Owning properties will unlock you Mechanic feature to deliver your vehicle. Although, to be honest, their hipster idea of delivering a car without popping-up in front of your eyes is badly practiced, you can expect your car to be delivered up in the bridge while you’re under and vice-versa.

Wondering where you can store your purchased aircraft and watercraft? There’s something called ‘Pegasus’ here which meant to serve your watercraft and aircraft, to a nearest spawn spot – sometimes fail though, because again, no popping-up next to you. Not only that, unmodifiable land vehicles such as Bus, Military truck, Military jeep, and Monster Truck will be kept by Pegasus as well.

Lastly, the root of all evil: ‘Money’. Hard to come, easy to go. Think twice before buying. You don’t need to own everything – remember that. You have two option, or three. Spend your time and work, buy Cash Cards, or glitch – which is not recommended. Well, I don’t recommend buy Cash Card either, because to me, it’s not worth it. In GTA Online, you gotta do the math.

>> Conclusion

GTA Online is full of fun-on-paper stuff. Things are imbalancely a chore to do. But then again, it depends on your play style. As someone who likes playing around with looks, I need a lot of money. I have to do missions and craps to get them. But there are people who just use the game as their chit-chat hub, which may not need in-game money at all to have fun. As for modifying the game, I don’t think the current Rockstar would let you do it in GTA Online. Most likely you will be stuck modifying Single Player which, I think, still not a bad thing, considering it has more details.

Hello old friend.

Now that GTA V is released on PC, and me being a PC gamer. I'm here to clear up a few "mistakes" in this thread which were made by a console gamer.

Let's get started. First off,

So, if you are a fanboy or have fragile faith in the game and very sensitive or maybe you’re a hardware preference discriminator and like acting superior, then feel free to move your awesome cursor and click Home or simply close your browser tab to show yourself way out. Nobody’s forcing you to read. If you have problem with my review, you can shut up or confront me through PM – and maybe I’ll entertain you.

You're really bad at trying to be subtle about your passive-aggressiveness. If you're going to aim comments towards me, don't try sugar coating it with vagueness. When will you understand that the whole PCMasterRace thing is a joke, and you need to stop taking it personally. I'm a fisherman, and my bait is PCMasterRace, and you take the bait every fucking time. It's a joke, relax. I don't genuinely hate consoles. And I would take it to PM, but I am 99% sure that will get nowhere, and a lot of the stuff I'm about to type will be about the game, so that others who may be thinking of buying the game can get a more accurate representation of some of the features.

You can obtain money from dropped loot, sell car, robbing store, jobs like Deatmatch, Race, etc.; and also Contact Mission – which is a cooperative task with max players up to 8 depending on the fixed setting by Rockstar

Wrong. You're implying it is a cooperative task only. Most of them can be done solo. A lot of them in fact say players 1-8.

Wrong. I'm doing jobs now and I see no issue with the current amount of money you earn, in fact, since the release on April 14, my stats say I've earned nearly $14,000,000. All legit. No bugs, glitches, hacks, cheats, or exploits.

Also, those Shark Cards are OPTIONAL. What part of that is hard to understand? You know what else you get with Shark Cards? Free DLC. Rockstar has stated that they want to keep future DLC free or as low cost as possible in order to avoid dividing the online community. So your choice is OPTIONAL Shark Cards, or MANDATORY Paid DLC.

The cheapest shark card is $3.00 USD I believe. That gives you $100,000 in game. Now if you want to earn $100,000 in game, the alternative is doing jobs for about 1 hour. (My personal grind, I can make nearly $130,000 an hour). Are you really complaining because you have to do some slight working to make money in game?

To sort of clear up how job income works, here you go.

You do missions in game, your reward at the end has a minimum and maximum payout. The average max payout is around $20,000 (for most missions). You hit that max cap if you spend 15 minutes in that mission. So if you're doing a mission, and you want the maximum amount, stay in the mission for 15 minutes before turning it in. Now that is not really what you want to do every time, because sometimes there are missions that are so easy, you can complete them in under 5 minutes. I have found that some missions that give you a max amount of $20,000 for 15 minutes, will also give you roughly $10,000 for 5 minutes. You can do it 3 times in 15 minutes, so you earn $30,000/15 min instead of $20,000/15 min.

Some people are so lazy, it sounds like what you want is to be able to EARN $100,000 by doing 5 minutes work.

This doesn't even make sense. I can grind for 15 minutes and earn enough to fully upgrade a pistol. Again, you make it sound like Rockstar should let you earn $100,000 for AFKing. Not the case, you actually need to put SOME work in.

Regarding the difficulty, I play missions exclusively on HARD. First few minutes playing, I was getting killed by the NPC in the missions, but that was because I was not used to a cover system in the GTA games. But once I learned to use it, I never get killed by the enemies. And come on console players, don't you guys get AUTO-AIM? That's basically a legal aimbot, and you still complain about it being hard? SMH. SMFH.

This is a good thing. What use would money be if you didn't have to buy vehicles? You just stole them off the street and saved them. That would completely destroy the need to level and play the game because a level 1 can have a Turismo or Zentorno just like a higher level who earned their money. Have you ever played an MMO game? Because this is like saying a level 1 should be able to loot the gear that can only be used by level 100. Not only should they be able to loot it, but they should be able to use it too! Because why not! Why bother doing missions for money, when cars are totally free!

You see how stupid that sounds?

You can upgrade your guns with Silencer (which is useless until now due to the difficulty imbalance), Extended Magz, Scope, Flashlight, and Grip. But then again, keep in mind, price are so jacked up. So don’t be rushy and f*ck yourself deep in your ass.

Wrong. Silencers helped during the Humane Labs raid. Also, the difficulty is still easy. AND my crew is playing on hard difficulty. Everybody is saying you NEED a headset to finish the heists, that is bullshit. Nobody in my crew uses a headset and we are fine. It looks like you can substitute HEADSET with COMMON SENSE, and you will be fine, given you and your crew are not retarded.

And here we are again with the prices. I felt like none of the prices are jacked up. In fact, I have all the guns I want, with all the upgrades I want, and skins I want (Platinum tint) including the Minigun.

Lastly, the root of all evil: ‘Money’. Hard to come, easy to go. Think twice before buying. You don’t need to own everything – remember that. You have two option, or three. Spend your time and work, buy Cash Cards, or glitch – which is not recommended..

I've put a part of your quote in bold. You see that part you said? Surprise surprise! Holy shit guys! You actually have to spend some time and work for your money! Rockstar won't stick $100,000 up your ass for walking around. It's almost like real life where you can't get paid for doing nothing!

As for modifying the game, I don’t think the current Rockstar would let you do it in GTA Online. Most likely you will be stuck modifying Single Player which, I think, still not a bad thing, considering it has more details.

Modding should stay Single Player, because it would bring too many issues in multiplayer. There are people comparing GTA:O to Fallout or Skyrim with mods, and complaining that Rockstar has made it more difficult to mod GTA compared to those two. But those people are incredibly stupid, simply because Skyrim and Fallout are SINGLE PLAYER games. I don't know what it'll take to make these people understand that.

To be honest, you're just making console players look bad. The only thing I got from this thread is that console players like to bitch and whine. You're complaining that Rockstar slowed down your money income, yet here I am with thousands of other PC players who are not complaining at all about the rate of income. Maybe we understand the whole system of having to work to earn stuff, instead of sounding like we're entitled to free stuff.

You want a grind? Try playing some MMO games on PC. Once you've learned what a true grind is, you'll be thanking Rockstar they haven't made it that bad.

In conclusion, I am exclusively a PC gamer, so I did NOT transfer any character over from the consoles. So I had to start fresh online with a Rank 1. Since the GTA release on April 14, I am now Rank 128 and my stats say I have earned over $14,000,000. I have bought ZERO shark cards. To put that in perspective, the most expensive supercar in the game is $1,000,000. I have two of the high end apartments, and could buy the 3rd one, but I was bored with the 10 car garage look, so I purchased a 6 car garage and home in the Hills area instead. Both of my 10 car garages are filled with fully modified supercars and muscle cars, and my 6 car garage is my "tacticool" garage with fully modded cars I use for when I want to go on a rampage, which includes the Armored Kuruma and the Insurgent APV.

Earning money is hard? Hah. Now THAT is a joke.

I've put a part of your quote in bold. You see that part you said? Surprise surprise! Holy shit guys! You actually have to spend some time and work for your money! Rockstar won't stick $100,000 up your ass for walking around. It's almost like real life where you can't get paid for doing nothing!
It turns out that a lot of us don't want to grind endlessly to afford cars, planes, etc.

I fully agree that GTA Online's progression system is fucking awful - most of the players I've encountered are complete fuckwits and an awful lot of the jobs are boring as hell.

And cool it with the personal attacks.

Which part of my post was a personal attack? If I directly called him a name or what not, I can't find it. If anything in that long post of mine qualifies as a personal attack, then the rules of this forum are the strictest of all the forums I have been in. And if we are using the term "personal attack" so loosely, take a look at the OPs disclaimer, which i'm 100% sure is directed at me. While you're at it, his signature is directed at me as well.

It's an online game, there is supposed to be a grind, however small or large. Even Planetside 2 has this, and the cash purchases for that game are a lot worse. I'm wondering exactly which part you think makes it awful? The slow progress? The lack of players who aren't assholes? That holds true for nearly every online game, which is why you get friends, and play together. I've completely avoided public sessions because of the stupidity of every online gaming community. As for the slow progress, technically the max level is in the thousands, but the true max level is around 100 when you basically unlock everything. Anything higher is just for show. Most of my friends are already 50-60, which is halfway there. Relative to other online games, this is far from the worst progression system.

Also, encountering dumbasses in game is nothing new. This is the internet after all.

Edit: As for the grinding about cars/planes/etc. Get 1 friend, run Fleeca Heist, split it 50/50. $70k per run which can be completed in 30 minutes. Even better, get a crew, and finish all heists. On top of the money you earn from each finale, you will get a bonus $1,000,000 for completing them in order. Another $1,000,000 for using the same crew. It is impossible to fail, you have INFINITE restarts and the gameplay is enjoyable. (In my opinion, as long as you aren't with randoms)

That statement wasn't only aimed at you, but your entire paragraph after the first quote was debatable.

Dude, I feel ya.

If you have no online buddies, best way is to hit Invite Only and join random contact missions from your phone for the quickest money making I can suggest.

Anyway, we all grind, bro. I don't know what level you're now, but try grinding Blow Up II from Simeon. Strategy is up to you there, but 5 minutes of play time gets you 9k. It's simple and fast for a quick 9k with very minimum expense.

And don't join random Heist or you gonna have a bad time. Hit gtaforums in case you need proper teaming.

Good luck.

You make it sound like GTAForums isn't full of idiots. Unfortunately, the people on GTAForums are the same people who play GTA Online. You see the problem there?
