Hello game tweaking wizards! I'm Dan and I make machinima! (Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYwHAX2BEbw) Basically I've always said that if SR3 has ingame editor tools then I'd switch to those instead of GTA IV and thanks to idolninja's blog I've found out that it does!

I just thought I'd come here and sort of offer my services as the official Machinima maker of this forum! I'd love to show off all the awesome mods you guys come up with in my patented awesome OTT style.

I'll happily link to this forum in every video I do so you guys get some extra hits too!

I just have one question though... Is there anyway to change the "Hide HUD" button to actually hide the hud instead of making it transparent. Also, is there a way to remove the hide hud button too (It doesn't go transparent when you click it.) I'm a novice when it comes to modding so please explain it as though you were talking to an idiot... which... you are.

Yes you can completely hide the HUD.

You have to edit one of the files given by Rick in the mod. It's the main lua file for the cinematic editor. And you have lua functions used by the hide HUD button. The code to hide the is even already here but commented. Uncomment it and magic happens.

Remembre to comment code the code which shows the "Show hud" too if you want a completely hidden HUD. But you'll have trouble reshowing it afterwards.
