Help "de-cheatering" a save via hex?

So via a string of events my save file was marked as a cheaters. I am now trying to alter my save game via hex editor so as to remove this via advice given in another thread
However, it says I need to find 0x000000C8 which I take to mean one of the values on the leftmost side (the Y axis), but I cannot find any ending with C8. Can anyone with experience in a hex editor help me out here?

Cant post the other thread because of Anti-spam measures

http://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/index.php?threads/savegame-cheat-disabler.345/ - try this tool i have used it, it works great,
if you want the flagging removed try idolninja's GOS mod compilation - http://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/index.php?threads/gentlemen-of-steelport-compilation.8/ , it has an option to disable the flagging - yes i use the anti-flagging too as saints is always better with cheats ^^

I appreciate the link but I'm afraid I dont want a whole mod, I'll be playing multiplayer after all and want to keep my save compatible

Also (just realized there was a first link, that's what I get for skimming) I already posted the first link in my original post. I'm attempting to do what the manual instructions were because the alternative would be downloading a file from an unknown source and I'd like to minimize that sort of thing

Download the mod and install it.
Load the game.
Remove the cheat flag.
Save your game.
Exit.
Remove the mod.
Load your game.
Save it again.

You should now have a clean save that you can use for Multiplayer.

You should back up your save games just in case this doesn't work.

If you're talking about my mod and/or the GoS compilation, it doesn't work that way. It's preventative rather than retroactive. i.e. it won't clear an existing save of a cheat flag. The only way that he can do it is with the tool listed earlier, or by manually hex editing the save. That's it.

That's what I was afraid. I'm just apprehensive of downloading a tool from an unknown source. Unfortunately the hex editing is proving beyond my skill scope

It's already been confirmed safe by multiple sources including myself and Minimaul.
