Help with messed up textures

This isn't an in game problem problem, but when I exported the Professor Genki character file from the game, the textures aren't properly colored. I did a test to see if they were all miscolored using the Gat mascot, which this one wasn't miscolored. Perhaps there's a problem with Genki because it has two skins, being the regular one and the homie version. I'll attach the texture here so you can see what I mean. Does anyone know what the problem could be or know a solution? Any help would highly be apreciated.

I thought the same thing too, it looks like the colors are wrong except for his lab coat.
Then I noticed that the green bowtie in the texture was all shades of green.
( it ONLY had shades of green, NO Blue or Red )

The same was true for the Blue and Red, for example;
In the RGB color code for Red, the number values were only in the Red channel and Zero in the others.
R - 1-255
G - 0
B- 0

Look at the textures for the strippers and you will see the same on thier bikinis, this is why they have different colored bikinis, hats, wings, etc.

So my guess is that textures that have these pure hues of Red, Green or Blue in certain areas of the image indicates that they can be assigned different colors according to which color palette is used.
( I just call them "Palette Select" for now but they probably have another name. )

There is probably a lot more information on this that I don't know yet, but this is all that I think is the case with these textures.

Hopefuly someone here with more info would be nice enough to shed more light on this subject.

Below are some of the Palette choices I found in the characters.xtbl file
<Color_Palette>NPC_Saints_Palette</Color_Palette>
<Color_Palette>NPC_Genki</Color_Palette>
<Color_Palette>NPC_Police
<Color_Palette>NPC_Deckers_Palette
<Color_Palette>NPC_Lucha_Palette
<Color_Palette>NPC_Biker_Palette
<Color_Palette>NPC_Saintsfans

And then of course Professor Genki has to say something on the subject.

Yeah, that makes sense. I kinda just re-colored it. It looks fine so I'll stick with what I have for now.

Very good.
When I first acquired the mod tools from this site plus the image editing program GIMP, the first texture I opened was Genki.

When I seen those colors in the texture image with the red head I thought maybe that the color saturation gets faded or blurred.

Then after opening many more textures I noticed the same RGB color purity ( shades of only Red, Green or Blue ) and theorized that they can be assigned different colors according to whatever palette is used.

I'm not 100% sure about this and have not yet looked into the actual palettes but hoping that soon someone here with more knowledge on this subject will read this and would reply with more indepth information.

Do you have any screenshots of your recoloring work ?

Here's one showing the angels with different colored bikinis and wings.

I've noticed a similar phenomenon in the skin color section (misc_tables/player_creation_skin_colors.xtbl); a hue of "0.0" indicated something special going on, but I haven't been quite able to figure out what.
