As I want to complete the the achievement of flying long distances in an alien craft, I would like to know if any modders could change the speed of the vehicles, such as the <VOID>, so I can fly through fake Steelport faster.

Is it doable without the SDK?
 
It should be, you would need to extract the appropriate vehicle file and modify it.

It is definitely doable, but there is a problem with increasing the speed of flying vehicles. At a certain speed (IIRC, maybe 2x normal speed or something) they start acting all crazy, such as climbing at a steep angle when trying to fly level. Or at least that's what happened in SR3 and I'd assume the same would be true here. A better option is to use this mod that lowers the distance requirement for the challenge: http://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/threads/reduced-alien-vehicle-distance-challenge.3982/
