Hit the Powder room CTD

while im playng its nothing but butter (plays smoothly) then all of a sudden when this mission comes out and i get there thinking nothing could go wrong, i get there, the window goes black like its about to load, then for somereason my whole screen goes black and i crash to desktop can someone help?
 
I remember someone else mentioning that same issue where they would crash as soon as the Brute with the minigun spawned in the Powder Room. It turned out that any Minigun brute would crash the game, even in the open world. My memory is a little fuzzy, but I think he got it working again by verifying files on Steam.
 
i have no problem with the brutes, i kill some everytime im on, it like, uh.......when i get to the powder room like in the beginning of the mission it does that cool looking black wipe then my whole screen blacks out then it crashes
 
No idea then, sorry. Have you tried removing all mods and verifying integrity on Steam to revert back to vanilla and test?
