Holsters, harnesses, and straps, oh my

would love some kinda gear like some of your homies have. double chest and hip holsters, legs straps and some type a harness that would explain the huge weapons on your back kinda like the rifle holster on Red Dead Redemption (kitty aint cuttin it). i know we'd still have to use the bag o' "pocket universe" mentality to explain the really big stuff tho.

since the homies and that DLC tactical catsuit (Ultors?) has holsters & harnesses, i thought that using those for a starter would be possible. since the clothes expande to fit different body sizes, i guess these would need to also. or maybe a couple different sizes to fit small medium large bodies. they wouldn't have to work w/ all clothes. just a few, and of course without clothes as i'd think the majority of players run with no shirt, shorts, or nekkid sometimes.
anyhoo, thanks for looking! hope they can get done

Not something that can be done until the mesh format is figured out and we have tools. Sorry.

thanks, i shoulda thought of that. makes sense now why i wasn't finding original mod weapons and clothes. dammit, why don't devs always release a tool kit?? i think more people would get PC versions over console if there were great mods for the games

I hope THQ or rather Volition will release those tools when they gotten everything out of this game. I mean, Rockstar did that with GTA IV as well, didn't they? But perhaps the engine is just to complicated to really release that sort of tools and keep the game stable.

Did they release them after SR 1 and/or 2?

Nope, and it's extremely unlikely that they ever will.

Also, to respond to Ava, Rockstar never released tools for any of the GTA games.

Oh.. I thought they did with GTA VI. Cos you can make all new kinds of models now, like Cat Woman, Super Mario (With pixels, NES oldschool style) and Max Payne and stuff.. I thought I read somewhere Rockstar released the tools to do that. Must have read something else.
