I have finished the main and dlc missions, all activities, assassinations and car thefts. The only thing I have not done completely are the challenges.
I have all dlc for sr3 and looking at the stats tells me I have 31 of 34 homies. I counted up everyone/everything in my phone and, sure enough, including police and gang forgiveness etc., I have 31 in total. Who/what am I missing? Or more exactly, how do I get them?

IIRC you'll need the "unlockables" DLC pack to get every single "homie" in the game, as there's at least two occasions I remember where a mission will reward you with either one or the other depending on the choice you make, so you couldn't get all of them normally in one playthrough.

1. Nyte Blade homie OR stag city takeover
2. Zombies OR Burt Reynolds & SWAT

So if the choices you made in thos missions resulted in you getting the STAG city takeover and the zombie homies, you would miss out on 3 homies (Nyte Blade, Burt Reynolds, and SWAT) with no legitimate way to get them unless you buy the unlockables pack which gives you all mission rewards including both rewards from choice missions.

As I said, I have all the dlc for sr3, that includes the unlockables pack. And counting both swat, zombies, et. all, I still only have 31.
 
Yes, there are 33 physical entries in the SR3 homie list on the wiki. But the entry for Angel technically counts as two, because in the game there are 2 versions that will show up in your cell phone list. One Angel with a mask, and one Angel without a mask. (you can see on that entry how they show 2 different faces) Making it 34 total homies.

So to the topic creator, just compare your list to the one on the wiki and find the ones that are missing, as all 34 are accounted for on that list (noting that the 1 Angel entry on the wiki is actually 2 different homies in the game)

Well, the point seems moot now. Short version, steam won't sync sr3 on the hard drive with what's the cloud. So all my progress is as good as gone.
 
Are your local saves working properly?

Disable the Steam Cloud in your Library.
 
At the risk of derailing my own thread; I had to reinstall steam, after the second or third time, I also had to reinstall everything else as well. Now sr3, and a few others, will not sync with the cloud. So I no longer have those saves locally.

Perhaps I should make a new thread in the off topic section to continue this?

A continuation of this derailment.
