How to Edit/Add Tattoos?

Hey! I've been lurking around for sometime trying to figure out how to edit the Tattoos availiable in the game, but alas, I can't get it to work properly.
Is there a decent tutorial for how to do this?? Thanks!

I suggest you read Retexturing Saints Row IV, For Dummies first, and then use my List of customize textures and in-game names to find the file that contains the tattoo texture you want to modify. Make sure you modify ALL files that reference that tattoo, or it may not work. See this posting for more information.
