How to fix SR4

So, say there was a new update, and it crashes every time you launch? That's probably because you have mods installed. So, today I'll teach you how to simply remove all the mods IN JUST 3 STEPS!
(If this doesn't work, try and look for more help, and if you still can't fix it re-install SR4)

1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Saints Row IV\

2. Delete all: XTBL, Lua, ASM(All ASM files, example: ASM_glungieispro) , STR2_PC (Or any STR2 files)

3. Hope this works!
...If this is even a step...

It should look like this:
(Without tables and matfx, those are mods I have installed)

got some handy things you could add in to this,

Delete every file in your Saints Row IV root folder apart from the folders:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Saints Row IV\

link so save people time and to catch people out who are not using legit version of game

then go into Steam and verify your game cache this will add back in all the files you removed without any mods
also you could just use a tool that Idol Ninja made that deletes all mods from any folder that its droped into and run from
its for SRTT but it works just fine for SRIV, you would have to speak to him if you wished to upload it or any thing but he would prob be cool with it or if not then just link people to it its on his official website

Also some nice screenshots would make this thread look much beter as its not got much in terms of content

I like it been using it for ages then either upload at default size if say you have croped somthing in an image edting program thats not that big if not then choose a diffrent one I never go above Message board size as I find any thing bigger is just to big

so ye once you have uploaded it will give you a direct link and one for forums

so you can use forum one it will start with [ that kind of bracket
but if you ever want to use direct link then just use the little button at the top of a photo then just paste link is will display the image before you post the reply

or you can also click more options bottom right then use preview

I already said that in first post , along with he would have to speak to Idol first same with you, he prob wont mind but fact you have uploaded it without speaking to him first goes against Forum rules

Be respectful and mindful of other modder's work and get the original creator's permission before you upload their mod or a changed version of their mod. If you can't contact the original mod creator, ask the Saints Row Mods staff - that's me or anyone marked as an Administrator or Moderator.

Thats good then I thought you would be cool with it , just thought it was worth checking first always easyr, as iv seen some of the shit storms that kick off from people uploading other users files :')

and @Glungie id recomend adding that file to OP, now you know its ok , its handy batch file and easy to edit for personal use
