How to take permission for uploading a mod

You mean to upload something based on another person's mod (or a new version of it)? Get permission from the original author. If the mod was released under a license like Creative Commons that allows derivative works, you don't need special permission. If you do need it, but the person is not available because they haven't been around for a while, start a private conversation with Minimaul. Open the menu in the upper right corner with your name on it and click "Conversations".
