How to update ASM files?

I always find that "Update ASMs" in threads, but I can't seem to get it to work.

Whenever I run the Stream2Update.exe, it says:

Detected the following games:

Which game do you want to update? <enter the number>

Note: No games are shown under detected. And any number I put just repeats the same question.

It's a steam only game. Oh dear, how sad.

I don't know how many countries Steam is in,but i think in some poorer countries the only market is dvd discs sold from stalls and the like, cheaply.
Maybe I'm wrong about that and things have changed since i last read an article about it.

Doesn't matter how you legally obtain a copy of the game, All of them require Steam in order to activate and authorize it, no matter where you are on the planet.
