i need help installing GoS

I got saints row the third on the steam sale and i was somewhat unhappy with the customization. I followed step by step the install it did not work uninstalled tried again still doesn't work. Am i missing something?
 
I'm going to need more info than that. Did you choose patch files or loose files? Where exactly did you move your new files that were created? If you just chose to build the standard patch files then most of the modded changes are very subtle. Did you check your phone to see if Mission replays were enabled/present?
 
i chose patch files because by the way it was described it seemed easier i'm new to mods but would like to get into them. I wasn't able to see any difference on the phone looked the exact same. I moved the files to the pc/cache part of the SRTT file.
 
It sounds like you did put them in the right place. Try to do a verify integrity on Steam, then rebuild the patch files with GoS, move them again, and give it another try.
 
repeating the process worked which makes me happy but i also wanted the character customization too i know its an optional but i cannot find where to turn it on
 
Select A for advanced and you'll be able to see all the submenus where you can activate all the optional stuff. It's the first option named "Extended Character Creation Sliders" under the CHARACTER AND CLOTHING MODS submenu.
